The Som Yagya
Som Yagya is a soul-stirring experience, a divine ceremony woven from ancient Vedic tradition. Performed for over five millennia, it embodies the enduring faith of universal harmony. Inscribed by UNESCO in the representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanty. The purpose of the yagya is for the welfare of the nation as a whole, its environment and wellbeing of its people.
The conducting of this ancient and sacred ritual will undoubtedly bring great environmental, emotional and spiritual advantages to the Kingdom of Bahrain, where, under the wise rule of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the genuine care of HRH the Crown Prince & PM, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, we enjoy and participate in making a reality of the promise of harmony between all faiths and communities. Acharya Goswami Shri Dr. Gokulutsavji Maharajshri ji is a direct descendent of Jagadguru Shri Vallabhacharya ji Mahaprabhuji. An eminent scholar at Ved & Vedant phyloshophy and ‘Shad Dharshan’. He has written several books on upanishad, Geeta & Vedant phyloshophy and also on music. Creating more than 5,000 poetic composition are a few of his achivements.

Acharya Dr. Vrajotsavji, a direct descendant of Jagadguru Shri Vallabhacharya ji Mahaprabhuji, inherits a rich legacy of Vedic knowledge and classical music.
Guided by his father, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shree awardee Aacharya Dr. Gokulotsavji Maharajshri, he has revived the ancient Vedic culture through Somyagyas and Samvedic Gayan worldwide. As a scholar and performer, he has authored numerous books on Vedanta, Philosophy, and Music.
